At Proserpine Kindergarten we welcome additions to our waiting list from the time your child is born. We encourage families to register early to ensure placement. Completion of the following Waiting List Application Form will secure your place on the waiting list for your chosen year, but does not guarantee your child a place within the service. Please complete a separate form for each child.
The Kindergarten offers two different time slots. Red Group hours from 8.00am – 3.40pm four days per fortnight (Mondays & Tuesdays). Blue Group hours of 8.30am – 2.40pm five days per fortnight (Wednesday, Thursday & alternating Friday). Please ensure you indicate on the form if you have a preference.
Your child’s year of attendance is the year in which they turn 4 by the 30th of June.
2025 – children born 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021
2026 – children born 1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022
2027 – children born 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023
2028 – children born 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024
2029 – children born 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025
2030 – children born 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026
Fees as of 2024
Enrolment fee – to secure your child’s spot we require a $100.00 enrolment fee
Fee-Free Kindy – Whether your child is in Red Group or Blue Group, you will not pay any fees thanks to the Queensland Government’s fee-free program. This is offered to all children of eligible Kindy age.
Membership fee – as a Community run Kindy, we ask for all families to become a member, at a cost of $8.00 per child.
